Composting project

PPMK cooperate with “Sumber Rejeki “ group in composting project.  “sumber rejeki” is a   small business group from bulus wetan/nogosari village, they have home industry in making many kind of product from recycle plastic waste

The composting project started by giving the knowledge and training skill for the group members.
The training held in Potorono, Mayungan village. In the training group members get theorical knowledge about composting making process and directly practice how to make the compost. The training given to start the project, after training we will continue the project with another schedule activity such; build the composting build, prepare the material for training.

Garbage is a problem for health and environmental, composting  is one solution for clean environmental and also to increase income for the village people who make the compost.

The mission of this project are ;
1.    To change organic garbage become  organic fertilizer , one solution to handle garbage  problem
2.    Establish clean environmental base on community
3.    Economic development and job opportunity
4.    Awareness of right way to handle garbage,


The composting group members consist of, rice farmer, cow farmer and people whose care and motivate to create and establish clean and healthy community environmental.
The main material of this compost fertilizer will be from cow shit which coming from the member also.
The project also will cooperate with the local government to arrange and manage household garbage which is a problem for the village presently. Villagers have habits to burn and to throw away garbage into river. The smoke from garbage burn is very dangerous, throw away garbage into river will cause flood and poisoning the water
