STATISTICAL AND ECONOMICAL REPORT ON MICROFINANCE PROGRAM BASED ON ASSESSMENT FORM BEFORE OCTOBER 2011

27th May 2006, an earthquake happened in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Thousands people became victim after only one minute of earthquake. As a result, there is not only hurt and died people, there also homeless and jobless people, which is we can assume as side effect of this disaster. Yet, both of those side effects will become another disaster after long time. After long time, the homeless and jobless people will become very desperate if their problem is not solved quickly. This condition will lead to social and economic disaster such as poverty.

As our motto, empowering women to fight poverty, all of you can assume that poverty is our main target. And for sure, poverty in Yogyakarta is rising after the earthquake. No matter how good is the reconstruction after the earthquake, you can find few people whose still poor even after they get help from the government.
